Hiking along the Zillertaler Höhenstraße

Once you have reached the high road, the peaks are within your reach

The Zillertal mountains can be easily explored by car along the beautiful Zillertaler Höhenstraße. But not only by car, but also by bike or with buses up to 10.5 meters long, the Höhenstraße is an experience that cannot be missed on a summer holiday in the Zillertal. At the highest point, at 2,020 meters, day trippers and athletes are rewarded with an impressive view over the Tyrolean mountains.

A hiking tour to the Marchkopf, the Wimbachkopf, the Gedrechter, the Wetterkreuzspitze and many other mountain peaks is perfect. The hikes can be planned and downloaded using the interactive hiking map.
